Musical Adventures Series 2013-2014
Musical Adventures is the umbrella title for Concordia Conservatory's rich music offerings for young and elementary school aged children. In addition to the annual Community Holiday Musical, the Musical Adventures Concert series offers two additional delightful 45-minute Saturday-morning concerts which are programmed to educate and entertain. Produced and performed by Concordia Conservatory faculty. Listen, Learn and Laugh Out Loud, Right in the Neighborhood!

A Christmas Carol
by John Higgins
Based on the Charles Dickens' holiday classic. It centers around Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserable old man who mistreats everyone in his life. Mr Scrooge is transformed by the spirit of Christmas when he receives a visit from three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Now in its 14th year, the annual Concordia Conservatory of Music and Art Annual Holiday Community Musical features an all-star community cast.

Don't Know Much About Rock'n Roll

In the distant future, Rock'n Roll has become so popular that it has taken over the economy! Harvey, a young wanna-be tax accountant, is forced to study rock music in college and seems doomed to a life of heavy metal guitar solos. As an act of defiance, he forms a band that sings about the stock market, taxes, and other topics that don't 'rock'. The result is a new style of music - one that he and his heavy metal parents grow to love.

Join Wolfgang Amadeus Schmutzinberry, the only living composer who still wears a powdered wig, as he travels through the story of music – from the baroque period to the present (and all the delightful “categories” in between!).
