Student Employment

On-campus job opportunities are available to students, with priority given to those who qualify for the Federal College Work Study Program.   Please visit the Career Development Center to receive information on how to apply for on-campus employment.

The Career Development Center also assists students in networking with off-campus employment, internships, and everyday jobs.  

The Federal Work Study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the cost of post-secondary education.

Students eligible for Federal Work Study may be employed by Concordia College, a federal, state, or local public agency, private nonprofit organization.

Institutions must use at least 7% of their work study allocation to support students working in community service jobs, including reading tutors for preschool age or elementary school children; mathematics tutors for students enrolled in elementary school through ninth grade; literacy tutors in a family literacy project performing family literacy activities; or emergency preparedness and response.

Contact Financial Aid to assist you with the application process.  Once your financial aid package is in place and you have qualified for work study, visit the Career Development Center to find employment.  Employment for FWS is not guaranteed, however priority is given when possible to students who are FWS eligible.

The employment forms must be submitted to the Career Development Center located in Sieker Hall.
