Tuition and
FINANCIAL AID

Our goal is to make the cost of higher education manageable for students and their families. You’ll find that Concordia is one of the most affordable adult education programs in the Metropolitan New York area. In addition to offering financial assistance, we’re tuition reimbursement-friendly with many corporate supported employee education programs in the area.

Ready to get started?

Every student’s financial situation is different and this information is intended to give you an outline of financial aid you may be eligible for.  Please call 914-337-9300 x2227 or visit the Financial Aid Office so that we can work together on your personal financial plan. All students of the Accelerated Degree Programs of the Adult Education (AE) division interested in receiving financial aid will need to complete a FAFSA - the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Instructions for completing the FAFSA can be found here.

Tuition 2020-2021

Tuition is $495 per credit. There is a one time comprehensive fee of $290 which includes a parking permit. For those planning to drive to campus, please contact the College Services Office to obtain your permit. This covers parking during the duration of your program.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid for Independent Adults 25+: What Am I Eligible For?

Financial Aid includes Federal Direct Loans, Pell Grants, and NYS TAP Grants. Federal Direct Loans must be paid back after you graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time enrollment. Pell and TAP Grants are funds awarded to you that do not have to be repaid. The amount of aid that each student will qualify for is different. Here are some examples of what you may be eligible to receive:

Federal Student Loans - The amount of loans that you are eligible for is dependent upon:

  • your academic standing, 2.0 GPA or better,
  • completing a minimum of 6 credits per semester
  • the total number of credits that you have earned.

** These loans are not based on your credit score**

What are the Federal Direct Loan amounts I am eligible to receive?

The amount of loans you are eligible for is based on the number of credits you have already earned:

How many credits are you taking?

Tuition Cost  ($495 per Credit)

0-26 Credits

27-58 Credits

59 - 120 Credits

6 Credits $2,970 $4,750 $5,250 $6,250
9 Credits $4,455 $4,750 $5,250 $6,250
12 Credits $5,940 $4,750 $5,250 $6,250
15 Credits $7,425 $4,750 $5,250 $6,250

Although students are eligible to take loans above their tuition costs, the Financial Aid Office strongly encourages students to only borrow what they need to pay their tuition.

Alternative Loans
Alternative Loans are also available should you need to borrow more than you are eligible to receive through the Federal Direct Loan program.  Alternative loans are subject to credit approval and generally have interest rates higher than Federal Direct Loans.
